Everyone knows ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’. Even if you’re unfamiliar with the book by Truman Capote, chances are you know of the movie. And even when you’ve never watched the movie in full, it’s highly likely that you’ve gone through life brushing against the pop culture that’s derived from the film. Audrey Hepburn is the quintessential essence of beauty and grace in the movie, and any girl who’s ever watched the film will most likely know the feeling of wanting to live that fantasy. The fantasy of living in New York City, hosting lavish parties, all whilst wearing couture gowns that have been made to fit you perfectly inch by inch. The film became a cult following, and in turn, made Tiffany & Co the striving iconic jewellery store that it is today. Everyone knows the shade of ‘Tiffany Blue’, and for good reason.
This year, we at Tish managed to score an event with Tiffany & Co., and even though it wasn’t in New York City, the experience was well worth it. To be able to set up an event for Tiffany’s nearest dearest just means that we’re inching closer towards living the dream. Tiffany & Co. hosted a dinner party during Ramadhan to commemorate the holy month, and those who were fasting. Celebrating a festive month with elegance and style, the event was hosted at Isabel, KL. A chic little restaurant to mirror their intimate little soirée. The restaurant gives a vibe that’ll make you forget that you’re seated right in the heart of bustling KL. With soothing music playing in the background that’s loud enough to know that it’s there, but soft enough to drown out with conversations. You can’t help but feel delightfully lost like you’re in the south of France in the summer, in a cafe tucked away somewhere in between boutiques. It’s very charming, to say the least.
Setting up the event was a breeze. Much like their brand, Tiffany likes to keep things focused on the people, the environment, and the overall experience. We simply sprinkled our magic here and there. With fresh white flowers and custom-made cookies as our introduction, the real highlight of the night was the custom placeholders that we presented to each guest. Each guest received a piece of deep emerald *Agate, with their name is written on it with gold ink. The night ended perfectly with each guest leaving with a special gift presented by Tiffany & Co., as well as keepsake by us, from a night to remember.
*You’ll be happy to know that Tish sells Agate coasters on our online shop. You can purchase them here on this site.
